Adult Issues

Are these your issues?

  • Does you have trouble paying attention and getting your work done?

  • Are you frequently frustrated by your attempts to succeed in school or at work?

  • Do you have trouble following directions, remembering what you are told, or finding the right words?

  • Is reading a continuing difficulty?

  • Do you struggle with written language, math, or reading comprehension?

  • Do you need more time than others to complete tasks?

If you have some form of learning disability that is the cause of these problems, it does not mean that you are lacking in intelligence or capability.  However, it may mean that you will need some accommodation in school or at work. If there is another cause, either physical or emotional, or if there are multiple causes, then you need to understand that as well.  Understanding your strengths and weaknesses is a first step in maximizing your learning.
