Insurance Reimbursements

Neuropsychological evaluations and emotional evaluations may be covered by some insurance policies.  In general, most Blue Cross/Blue Shield indemnity policies and most PPO plans will cover some or even all of a neuropsychological evaluation.  We are not in network with any HMO, but if your or your child's primary care physician can refer out of network, then it might be possible to obtain some reimbursement.  Whether or not there is coverage must be determined on a policy by policy basis, as we have seen even Blue Cross indemnity plans that exclude testing.  You should contact your plan administrator if insurance reimbursement is necessary for you to use our services.

However, any work related to education, which is to say any educational evaluation, any school related services such as classroom observation or attendance at school meetings, or forensic testimony, will not be covered by any medical insurance.

Please note that, in the event that an expected payment is refused by the insurance company, you will remain responsible for any balance on your account.

If necessary, we can make other financial arrangements for you.  Please ask before your testing date.
