Because many children have complex diagnostic profiles, they often will benefit from evaluations in other areas, such as speech and language, occupational therapy, sensory integration, or physical therapy.  Some children need to consult with a psychiatrist about medication, or need the help of a psychotherapist.  Families may wish to work with a specialized tutor, an educational advocate, or a special education attorney.  We maintain a list of highly qualified professionals with whom we have worked in the past.  Parents can discuss a specific referral after the evaluation, since these referrals are often part of the recommendations.
